Kalkaska Idol will be held in the
Trout Entertainment Tent
Located just past the Carnival at the Fairgrounds.

2008 Rules and Regulations

One day only, Saturday April 26, 2008

Entries must be received no later than Friday, April 18th.

There will be three rounds:

1st round
10:00 am to 12:00 pm

2nd round
12:00 pm to 1:30 pm

There is intermission between the 2nd and 3rd rounds for our contestants and families to enjoy the parade. Come prepared for the final round starting at 5:00 pm.

3rd round
5:00 pm to the last performer

There will be a panel of three Judges.
The Judges are looking for voice quality, performance and the Wow factor!
Keep it clean! They may disqualify you at any time!
The Judges will determine who will continue to the final rounds.

There will be three age groups performing.
Each age group will be limited to 12 entrants, so get your application in early.
Different songs for each round is not required, but suggested for originality.
Each age group will have a 1st place, 2nd place and a 3rd place prize.
Prizes will consist of cold hard Cash!
1st prize $275.00
2nd prize $150.00
3rd prize $75.00

13 to 18 years

Adult
19 and up

The National Trout Festival® is not responsible for any lost or stolen personal items. (sound equipment, purse, clothing etc.)
