The Special Silent Auction will be conducted by the Edgar and Marion Beck Foundation.
Marion is chairwoman and founder of the Beck Foundation.
It was started in loving memory of her husband Edgar who passed away in May of 1998, from a brain tumor.
The Beck Foundation was formed to raise funds for the support of the Wayne State University Brain Tumor Research Program and other charitable organizations.
The Special Silent Auction will have items that will interest everyone. They are noted for their sports memorabilia, jewelry, art, bird houses and their vacation/weekend getaway packages.
Among the items included will involve famous players for the Detroit Tigers, the Detroit Pistons and the Detroit Red Wings. Their will also be some autographed items of these players.
Famous golf players such as Jack Nickalus, Tiger Woods and Arny Palmer will also be represented.
Two Special Silent Auctions will be held at the Shady Belle.
Friday, April 27th and Saturday, April 28th from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm.
The National Trout Festival is very happy to forge this new alliance with the Beck Foundation.
