The Wood Memorial commemorates avid runners, Chad Wood and his father Stafford. Chad was a youth leader in many ways, and his father was one of Kalkaska’s most treasured teachers. In their memory, proceeds from the race are used to promote youth programs in Kalkaska County.

Registration begins at 10:00am at Birch Street Elementary. Entries must be registered and lined up by 12:30pm to be judged, 1:30pm if not being judged.


Parade begins at 2:00pm.
